Frequently asked questions

Answers about DINPanel work, projects, switchboards, exports, accounts, and subscriptions.

Is DINPanel used for drawing complete electrical projects like CAD?

DINPanel does not replace CAD software. It focuses on the installation structure: building, rooms, circuits, switchboard, materials, offer, and documentation. The floor plan helps show point placement and cable routes.

Can I start a project at the customer site and finish it later in the office?

Yes. On site, you can collect building, room, and circuit data, also without internet access. Later, you can return to the project on a computer and continue with the switchboard, products, offer, and documentation.

How much data do I need to enter before the application is useful?

You do not need to enter everything. You can prepare only circuits, only a floor plan, or only a switchboard. A fuller project gives more data for lists, offers, and documents, but the application does not force you to use every module.

How long does it take to prepare a project?

DINPanel lets you define the most important project data very quickly. Rooms and circuits can be added with one click, the switchboard can be created automatically, and during the first customer visit you can already check the needed materials list and installation statistics.

How does switchboard design work?

The switchboard can be prepared automatically or manually. The automatic planner creates the device layout and tries to distribute loads evenly across phases. The generated layout can be changed manually later.

What do I get at the end of a project?

A project can produce material lists, an offer, invoices, device labels, a switchboard view, a single-line schematic, and PDF documentation. Some data can be exported to CSV or XLSX.

Is DINPanel for small jobs or larger projects?

You can use it for simpler installations, modernizations, and larger projects. For small jobs, circuits, materials, and the offer may be enough. Larger projects can also use the floor plan, switchboard, labels, schematics, and documentation.

Can I prepare an offer without a complete technical project?

Yes. The offer can use project data, but you can also add your own manual line items. This is useful for work that cannot be described well only through installation elements.

Can I see the application before buying?

We are working on videos showing the most important parts of the application. They will be available on YouTube and will show project work, circuits, switchboard design, materials, and documents.

Which payment methods are available?

Payments are currently handled by PayU. Stripe support is also planned for the future.

Will I be able to cancel a subscription?

Yes. You will be able to cancel a subscription from your account. Access to the application will remain active until the end of the paid period.

Will I receive an invoice for the subscription?

Yes. The invoice will be issued promptly after the payment is booked.

Are application updates charged separately?

Updates are free within an active subscription. Suggestions can be sent to info@dinpanel.com.

Can I suggest a new feature?

Yes. We are open to application change suggestions. You can send ideas to info@dinpanel.com or submit them through Support in the main menu after logging in.

How can I contact DINPanel?

The easiest way is to use the contact form on the website or write to info@dinpanel.com. You can describe a technical question, account problem, or offer-related topic.
